Their music has been described as whimsical yet reflective and daring. Other labels include “glorpy” and “akin to emotional warfare”.

As a performer, Ethan has been a featured soloist with the Wichita State University Symphony Orchestra for their Concerto-Aria Honors Concert, played on a short film “Down West Avenue”, played with the Wichita Wind Symphony, consistently played with the WSU Wind Ensemble, WSU Jazz Arts I, and various WSU chamber groups including Saxophonics. Ethan presented their piece Runnin’ on Fumes for WSU’s Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum and received first place in the Creative Arts category.

Ethan graduated from Wichita State University with a B.M. in Composition having studied with Dr. Jacy Pedersen, Dr. David MacDonald, Prof. Jim Pisano, and many others. I am incredibly grateful to all of my mentors I’ve learned from.

In preparation for grad school, they are teaching private lessons at Damm Music Center and playing with local groups like the Wichita Wind Symphony and VESPERA. When not music-making, they are often found reading, gaming, biking, and enjoying life!!
